The JV Maroon finished their season last night with a 33-0 win over Clear Brook. The Oilers scored on their first four drives making the score 27-0 at the half. They added one more touchdown in the third quarter to round out the scoring.

Offensively, Samuel Allen threw two touchdowns hooking up with Anthony Ross on a 48 yard touchdown pass and Grant Gilmore had a 28 yard touchdown snag. Adding to the scoring was Justin Wilson, Dexter Thomas, and Nicholas Trapp all on the ground. Other standouts on offense were Ryan Tracy, Ian Musselwhite, Seth Dornak, Trey Laitkep, and Robbie Wendell.

The defense played their most complete game of the season. They were led by Geogre Brown, Patric Paul, Michael Blackmon, D.J. Durio, Larry Morrow, Travis Osburn, and Dennis Walls. Morrow and Blackmon were in on numerous tackles while Paul, Brown, and Osburn controlled the line of scrimmage. Walls and Durio shut the passing game of the Wolverines down.

The win runs the JV maroon record to 7-2-1 and 4-1-1 in district. Congratulations to the JV Maroon Oiler football team.
