| The
JV Maroon finished their season last night with a 33-0 win over
Clear Brook. The Oilers scored on their first four drives making
the score 27-0 at the half. They added one more touchdown in the
third quarter to round out the scoring.
Offensively, Samuel Allen threw two touchdowns hooking up with
Anthony Ross on a 48 yard touchdown pass and Grant Gilmore had
a 28 yard touchdown snag. Adding to the scoring was Justin Wilson,
Dexter Thomas, and Nicholas Trapp all on the ground. Other standouts
on offense were Ryan Tracy, Ian Musselwhite, Seth Dornak, Trey
Laitkep, and Robbie Wendell.
The defense played their most complete game of the season. They
were led by Geogre Brown, Patric Paul, Michael Blackmon, D.J.
Durio, Larry Morrow, Travis Osburn, and Dennis Walls. Morrow and
Blackmon were in on numerous tackles while Paul, Brown, and Osburn
controlled the line of scrimmage. Walls and Durio shut the passing
game of the Wolverines down.
The win runs the JV maroon record to 7-2-1 and 4-1-1 in district.
