Dear Pearland Community,
Once again we set sail on a new year with new hopes and new experiences. Your support of our students is an important component of their perception of their high school experience. When we clap our hands, pat them on the back, and offer our encouragement - we let them know that their lives are meaningful and their hard work and preparation is respected. A football game brings together many of the extracurricular organizations from band, drill team, color guard, ROTC, cheerlearders, to our trainers, and all these groups work together to creat a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. I know everyone respects the hard work put forth by all students.

We hope everyone enjoys the season and everything associated with it. Remember that as adults we are the role models and our behavior should exemplify what our youngsters should emulate. Also, remember that the opponents are comprised of teenagers just like ours and we need to treat them accordingly and be good hosts.

I know I will be seeing many of you at various sporting events throughout the year and I want to say thanks ahead of time for supporting all of our kids in all their endeavors.
