David Webster helped open up huge holes for the Pearland ball carriers helping the Oilers roll up 421 total yards against Alvin. "David has been a warrior in the trenches for three years and has a great future at the next level," said head coach Tony Heath.

Tony Barrows had an outstanding game against Alvin with numerous tackles and pressure on the quarterback. "Tony has been a consistent player all year in helping our defense become one of the top in the Houston area," head coach Tony Heath said.

Quarterback Michael Speciale
Michael Speciale had seven carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns while hitting 9-of-12 passing for 163 yards. "Michael continues to guide the offense each week and had his best game this season throwing the ball," head coach Tony Heath said.
Outside Linebacker
Joel Mapps
Joel Mapps had six solo tackles and six assisted stops against Clear Creek to help the Oilers beat the Wildcats 48-22 to remain undefeated at 9-0 for the season. "Joel has been one our consistent performers on defense and is a team leader," said head coach Tony Heath.

Marcus (Cally) Bradley
Marcus Bradley had six carries for 60 yards in a strong effort against Brazoswood. "Marcus has been a valuable asset to our offense all year," said head coach Tony Heath.

Lance Hayes

Lance Hayes had eight unassisted and three assisted tackles in the 42-0 win against Brazoswood. "Lance is one of our defensive leaders and has had an outstanding season for us," head coach Tony Heath said.

Marcus (Cally) Bradley

Marcus (Cally) Bradley had nine carries for 50 yards and two catches for 15 yards for one score. Bradley had a jaw-dropping juke that dropped a Clear Brook defender to his knees on his way to a 10-yard scoring grab. "Marcus is a transfer from California who has been a great asset to the Oiler backfield," said head coach Tony Heath.

Joel Mapps

Joel Mapps came up with a fumble recovery resulting in a 54-yard scoring scamper that broke the back of the Clear Brook Wolverines. Mapps also made numerous tackles in an oustanding effort. "Joel continues to be a solid player for our defense," head coach Tony Heath said.

Offensive Tackle
Chad Garner battled in the trenches against a tough Clear Lake defensive line helping to open up holes for the Pearland runners including one for running back Fozzy Whittaker who scored on a 66-yard jaunt. "Chad made several key blocks at critical times to help us move the football against a strong Clear Lake defensive unit," said head coach Tony Heath.

Ernest Buch
Ernest Buch had a key interception against Clear Lake that helped the Oilers take a hard-fought 14-3 victory. Buch made several critical stops against the Falcons' run-oriented offense. "Ernest came through with several big plays against Clear Lake," head coach Tony Heath said.

Eric Kutch is one of the reasons that running back Fozzy Whittaker is leading the Houston area in rushing. "Eric battles in the trenches against some big defensive players and has turned in a stellar performance each week," state head coach Tony Heath.

Jamaal Driver
Jamaal Driver had five tackles and blocked a kick against Victorial Memorial to help the Oilers to a 44-15 win. "Jamaal has really had a good season so far and he gave an outstanding effort against Victoria," head coach Tony Heath said.

Fozzy Whittaker
Fozzy Whittaker had 165 yards on 15 carries against FB Elkins. The junior speedster scored three times on runs of 10, 3, and 60 yards. Whittaker now has 345 yards and four TDs for the young season. "Fozzy gets better with every game," head coach Tony Heath said.

Justan Vaughn
Justan Vaughn made several key tackles and broke up a couple of passes against Elkins. "Justan played an outstanding game and made some good plays," head coach Tony Heath stated.

Quarterback Michael Speciale
PHS signal-caller Michael Speciale had 70 yards rushing on 13 carries including a 16-yard scoring dash. "Mike did an excellent job of directing the Oilers to a victory in their first game of the year," head coach Tony Heath said.

Linebacker Brandon Shaw
Brandon Shaw had four unassisted tackles, seven total stops, and one fumble recovery that he returned 19-yards for a touchdown. "Brandon set the tone for the defense early last Friday night for what was an outstanding defensive night," head coach Tony Heath said.
