Longest Touchdown Run - 98 Yards
2019 - Pearland’s Dominic Serna tied the PHS longest TD run (98-yards) from scrimmage against The Wood-
lands when Pearland beat the Highlanders 21-3.

2009 - Pearland Junior running back Dustin Garrison scored a 98-yard touchdown run against La Porte that
gave the Oilers a 27-24 victory to help them remain undefeated in district play. Garrison broke the old mark of
95 yards held by former Oklahoma strong safety Sam Proctor in 2006 with a TD run against North Shore as a
QB at Reliant Stadium to help the Oilers knock off the Mustangs 21-14.

National Attendance Record for a High School Game - 54,347
2013 - National attendance record for a high school game was 54,347 set at the 5A Div I State Championship
game in Arlington at AT&T Stadium between the Allen Eagles and the Pearland Oilers. Allen won 63-28.

Career Passing Record - 4,654 Yards
2007-08 - Career passing record set by Pearland QB Trey Anderson, breaking the old mark of 3,427 yards
set by QB Sam Allen.

Career Rushing Record - 6,192 Yards
1997-2000 - PHS career rushing record set by Pearland RB Anthony Evans.

Single Season Rushing Record - 2,827 Yards
2010 - Single-season rushing record by Pearland RB Dustin Garrison, breaking the old mark of 2,774 set by
Fozzy Whittaker in 2006.

Single Game Touchdown Record - Five
2024 - Pearland Running Back Tate Chisolm scored five touchdowns against cross-town cousin Dawson on
runs of 22, 18, 5, 4, and 1 yard in the Oilers 42-29 win.

2023 - Pearland Running Back LaDamion McDowell scored five touchdowns against the Alief Hastings
Bears (3 rushing, 2 receiving) in a 44-27 win.

Single Game Rushing Record - 415 Yards
2006 - Pearland’s Fozzy Whittaker (UT) rushed for 415 yards to beat Clear Creek on October 20th.

Single Season Team Scoring Record - 667
2010 - 667 total points scored by Pearland in a football season breaking the old PHS scoring record of 540
set by the 2008 Pearland team.

Single Game Passing Record - 357 Yards
2018 - Pearland QB J.D. Head holds the single-game passing record of 357 against Cinco Ranch to beat the
Cougars 56-28, breaking the 314 yard record formerly held by All-State QB Trey Anderson.

Career Touchdowns - 51
2010 - Pearland RB Dustin Garrison set a new PHS single-season scoring mark of 51, breaking the old
record of 35 set by Kasey Carrier in 2008.

Career Touchdown Passes - 41
2009-10 - Pearland QB Trey Anderson completed 41 TD passes, breaking Sam Allen’s 30 from 2007-08.
