A Word from the

Superintendent...

The lights are back on, the stands are full, and it’s time once
again for Friday Night Lights in Pearland! These nights are
more than football games; they are a celebration of everything
that makes Pearland ISD and our community special. From
the dedication of our student-athletes to the talent of our fine
arts performers and the energy of our fans, every game is a
showcase of what it means to Build Pearland Proud.

Behind every touchdown, performance, and cheer is an incredible amount of hard work,
resilience, and preparation. What you see on the field and in the stands is the result of countless
hours of effort from students, educators, parents, and community members. Together, we are
not just running plays on the field; we are living out our commitment to excellence, teamwork,
and pride in Pearland.

As this new season kicks off, I encourage you to look around tonight. Our team isn’t just
the players and coaches on the field; it’s every parent, teacher, student, and community
member in these stands. We are one district, one community, and one team. This is what
it means when we say Game On. It’s about bringing our very best, honoring our traditions,
embracing today’s challenges, and building toward a future where every student can achieve
their potential.

Our educators and staff model daily what it takes to succeed: accountability, innovation,
growth, and celebration of student success. That same spirit is alive on the field tonight, and
in every classroom, practice, and performance across Pearland ISD.

Together, we are Pearland ISD. Together, we Build Pearland Proud. And together, it’s
Game On!

Thank you for coming out to support our students, and I look forward to seeing you at
many more events this season that highlight the incredible talent and commitment of our
