A Word from the Principal...
Every week schools across the country experience “Friday Night Lights,” but what
we have at Pearland High School is truly special. Our Friday nights are more than
an event; they are a celebration of the rich traditions and the unparalleled spirit that
define our community. When you step into The Rig, you aren’t just attending a football
game; you’re witnessing the heartbeat of Pearland—a display of dedication, talent,
and pride that extends far beyond the field.
Our Oiler Football teams, The Pride of Pearland Band, Prancers, Cheerleaders,
ROTC, Choir, and other student groups have been preparing tirelessly, enduring the
Texas heat for months, to deliver performances to rival the very best. What unfolds is a testament to the culture
and high expectations set by generations before us, and the foundation upon which future generations build.
I am incredibly honored to be a part of a community that takes PRIDE in our Oilers, HONORS our students, and
celebrates every SUCCESS, whether on the field, in the stands, in the classroom, or behind the scenes. As you
look around The Rig, you’ll see a venue steeped in traditions, each one a reflection of the commitment and spirit
of Pearland High School. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or joining us for the first time, I invite you to be a
part of this journey as we continue to build on the legacy that is the Pearland Oilers. Together we light up The Rig,
and together we create memories to last a lifetime.
Let the lights shine bright, the cheers ring loud, and the Oiler spirit fill The Rig. Here’s to a fantastic season and to
all the moments that make us proud to be Oilers.

A Word from the Athletic Director...
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. It is with great anticipation that we look
forward to the start of the school year and football season this fall. It shall prove to
be another exciting season.
Friday nights gift us time to reminisce with the sights and sounds from the past,
the banners, the bright lights, the incredible halftime performances, the whistles
blowing, the scoreboard buzzing, the grimaces after an ear shattering tackle, and
the legendary football stories that dominate conversation in the fall.
Friday nights are synonymous to the rich tradition of football in the great state Texas. They connect the com-
munity by bridging the gap of past generations. We all certainly have high school memories that take us back
to when we were kids and enjoyed Friday nights with all our friends at the stadium.
Today, you get to share those experiences with your children and grandchildren and make new memories.
Enjoy the season. Thank you for supporting Pearland ISD. See you at the stadium!
